Working principle of single crystal solar panel

2022-03-02

Photovoltaic power generation (PV) is a technology that converts light energy directly into electric energy by using the photogenerating volt effect of semiconductor interface.  The key element of this technology is the solar cell.  Solar cells are packaged and protected in series to form large-area solar cell modules, and then combined with power controllers and other components to form photovoltaic power generation devices.  The advantage of photovoltaic power generation is that it is less subject to geographical restrictions, because the sun shines everywhere;  Photovoltaic system also has the advantages of safety and reliability, no noise, low pollution, no fuel consumption and transmission lines can be set up to generate power locally and the construction period is short.

Photovoltaic power generation is based on the principle of photogenerating volt effect, using solar cells to directly convert solar energy into electricity.  Whether it is independent use or power generation, photovoltaic power generation system is mainly composed of solar panels (components), controller and inverter, they are mainly composed of electronic components, do not involve mechanical parts, so photovoltaic power generation equipment is very refined, reliable and stable long life, easy installation and maintenance.  In theory, photovoltaic power can be used for anything that needs power, from spacecraft to household power, from megawatt power stations to toys.  The most basic components of solar photovoltaic power generation are solar cells (slices), including monocrystalline silicon, polysilicon, amorphous silicon and thin film cells.  Single crystal and polycrystal battery consumption is the largest, amorphous battery used in some small systems and calculator auxiliary power supply.
