Renewable energy investment tracker for the second half of 2022

This report provides an overview of global renewable energy investments tracked by Bloomberg New Energy Finance through and including the first half of 2022. Globally, $226 billion in new investments were made in renewable energy in the first half of 2022, a record for the first half of the year. An increase in investment in renewable energy projects, venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) financing is the driving force behind this.
